December's Events at Ballyroan Library

Hello everyone,

We have lots of festive events for the whole family coming up at Ballyroan Library in December!

We’re delighted to be involved with the Christmas Craft Fair again this year along with Ballyroan Community Centre and Ballyroan Parish. Join us on 6th December from 6:30 – 8:30 for craft stalls, mulled wine, carol singing and much more. Santa Claus himself may even make an appearance!

As well as our regular events, we also have special Christmas events including craft workshops for adults and children, Pyjama Storytime and Musical Tots.

Our exhibition for December is ‘Messines and Passchendaele: the South Dublin Connection’ and we will also host a talk on the same subject on 14th December at 7:00 pm. Marking the centenary of the WWI battles, the exhibition and talk will trace the stories of thirteen men from the South Dublin area who died at Messines and Passchendaele.

Click here for the December brochure where you can get details of all events. Booking opens for all December events on Monday 27th November at 10:00 am at

Best wishes,

The Staff of Ballyroan Library

Our neighbours in Coláiste Éanna are proud to announce that this year’s school production is the ever popular musical “Oliver” which opens for a four night run next week.  For full details of that event, please see the poster here.
