Natural History talks at Tallaght library

 

Tallaght library are holding two exciting natural history talks next week. All those interested in our native birds and animals are welcome to attend.

 

Thursday 8th June at 6.30 p.m Nigel Monaghan will discuss The Natural History Museum

The Natural History Museum, popularly known as the "Dead Zoo" has been a favourite of generations of Irish people. Nigel Monaghan, Keeper of the Museum, will give a talk on the building, its history and the science that goes on behind the scenes. 

 

Thursday 15th June at 6.30 p.m Niall Hatch  will discuss The Birds of Tallaght

Join Niall Hatch of BirdWatch Ireland as he reveals the rich birdlife of the local area. With tips on finding and identifying birds and advice on how best to care for the birds which visit local parks and gardens, this presentation is ideal for anyone with even a passing interest in wildlife. Niall is a regular contributor on Mooney Goes Wild on RTÉ Radio 1.
