November events open for booking from Monday

Hello everyone,

Our full programme of events for November will be circulated next week, but we just wanted to draw your attention to some events which will be open for booking at www.ballyroanlibrary.eventbrite.ie from Monday 22nd October at 10:00 am.

Monday 5th November at 6:30 pm Psychopaths - sad, mad or just plain bad? A talk on what motivates psychopaths by John O’Keeffe. John O’Keeffe is a Criminologist, Forensic Psychologist, lecturer and broadcaster, has written extensively on issues relating to crime. He regularly appears on Irish and UK television and radio where he speaks on various matters related to victims’ rights, criminal law, criminology and forensic psychology.

Tuesday 6th November at 10:30 am and every Tuesday for 6 weeks. Early Years Music Course (0-2 year olds)

Join us for a fun-filled song, movement and percussive musical experience through play. The course will give parents the chance to actively participate in preparing their baby for the later development of accurate rhythmic skills, singing skills and sensitivity to the expressive qualities of music. This course is suitable for babies aged 0-2 years only.

Tuesday 6th November at 11:15 am and every Tuesday for 6 weeks. Early Years Music Course (3-4 year olds)

Join us for a fun-filled song, movement and percussive musical experience through play. This course is suitable for children aged 3-4 years only.

Wednesday 7th November 11:00 am - 1:00 pm and every Wednesday for 5 weeks. Digital Skills Course

This course is run over five weeks and aims to give participants the confidence, motivation and skills to take their first steps online so that they can play their part in an increasingly digital world. All events are free of charge and open for booking on Monday 22nd October at 10:00 am at www.ballyroanlibrary.eventbrite.ie.
