Short Story Workshop - with David Butler
"A successful writer must read widely, then get writing. In this short story workshop we’ll be doing plenty of both, focusing on such areas as: how and where to start; economy and focus; dialogue; handling structure; and managing tension. Be prepared to discuss the work of others; it's the best way to become your own most important critic!" David Butler is an award-winning novelist, poet and playwright.

But a list can also be an amazing tool, fostering descipline, quelling anxiety and aiding creativity. Using the Literary Listography: My Reading Life in Lists and facilitated by poet and writer Colm Keegan, Over two workshops you will use lists as a prism for everything, wellness, identity, hopes and dreams.
