November 2017 Events at Clondalkin Library

Hello to all our newsletter subscribers.

First of all we have to tell you that the children's library is closed for the entire week beginning 31st October. This is to facilitate painting and other work. We are not sure what the situation will be during the week beginning 7th November but will inform you in time.

However, we have a mini-library for children downstairs.

We also hope to hold the events downstairs. It is not ideal and may be a little cramped but we don't want to disappoint those who are booked in.

The brochure for November is available as a PDF download here.

Science week is the highlight of November. Most of our events are aimed at schools but we are having a marine creatures workshop in the afternoon which should fascinate all the junior David Attenboroughs among you. For teens we have a creative writing evening. For adults we have a memoir writing taster session. And our Library After Dark writers are giving a performance of their work on the evening of the 14th. Places are liminted for all of these events so booking is essential.

Looking forward to seeing you at the library.
