Booking from Monday 18th February, 1.30pm, via https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/arts-crafts-for-children-air-dry-clay-playdough-23032019-tickets-55918250994 As part of the Clondalkin Handcraft and Horticultural Show 2019, events will take place in Lucan, Clondalkin and Tallaght Libraries between February and May. All items made at the workshops will be entered in the Clondalkin Handcraft and Horticultural Show, 2019, taking place in Áras Chrónáin on 30th June. All children attending the workshops must be accompanied by an adult. All workshops suitable for 6 - 12 year-olds.

This six week course starts on Saturday 2nd March and continues on 9th, 23rd & 30th March, and 6th & 13th April.   Session 1: Babies (0-2 year olds): 2.00pm - 2.30pm  Session 2: Children (2-4 year olds): 3.00pm - 3.30pm   A fun-filled song, movement and percussive musical experience through play. Six weekly interactive sessions give parents the chance to actively participate in preparing their babies and toddlers for the later development of accurate rhythmic skills, pitch skills and sensitivity to the expressive qualities of music through the medium of play!   Please note that participants must attend all six weeks. Map and Directions

The library can be reached using the 25a bus from Woodquay to Superquinn, Newcastle Rd. The 25x from Belfield stops there too.  For routes, timetables and fares information, see the Dublin Bus website.

Lucan Library is a full-time library in the Superquinn Shopping Centre in Lucan. It is situated to the extreme left of the centre, near the Dunnes Stores entrance.

The library was opened to the public in November 2000. It is a bright modern building on the first floor of the Superquinn Shopping Centre and is accessible by lift. It has a large children\'s area and a seminar room which can be booked by local community groups.
