Starting Monday 16th November. Time 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm. We will introduce you to paper circuits, sewn circuits, scribble robots, Makey Makey and sketch and play. For older teenagers we will be soldering and making amplifiers and loads more. 

Monday 9th November at 3.30 pm. This is a science show that is energetic, explosive and uses lots of volunteers. Today Sue will focus on light. Suitable for ages 8+. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Booking essential. Book at desk or telephone 01 4620073 

Patricia Fitzgerald is a Mandala artist based in Dublin.  Mandala can be loosely translated to mean circle, but the Mandala is far more than just a simple shape.  It embodies wholeness, representing the structure of life itself, a cosmic diagram that shows us our relatedness to the infinite, that which extends both beyond and within our bodies and minds.  Mandala art embodies peaceful energy for the viewer as well as the artist and is created as an open-eyed meditation.

This exhibition runs from Monday 2nd November to Friday 27th November 2015.  15% of all sales will be donated to Aware.

Science Workshops with the Rediscovery Centre: Forces-Pushing and Pulling- Fantastic Forces.

Tuesday November 17th . 2 sessions  9.30am-11am and 11.30am-1pm. In everyday life we use forces for almost everything we do . Forces are pushing, pulling, twisting, squashing or stretching movements that cause objects to speed up or slow down.  The workshop includes hands-on activities to explore friction, air resistance, gravity, floating and sinking.
