Science Workshops with ths Rediscovery Centre:"Forces- Pushing and Pulling- Fantastic Forces.

 Tuesday November 17th : 2 sessions 9.30am-11am and 11.30am-1pm. In everyday life we use forces for almost everything we do . Forces are pushing, pulling, twisting,squashing or stretching movements that cause objects to speed up or slow down. The workshop includes hands-on activities to explore friction, air resistance, gravity, floating & sinking. Suitable for 3rd-6th classes. Booking necessary, by phone on Tel 01 4524888. Science Festival: Junior Einsteins Workshop. Takes place on Wednesday November 4th. 2 Workshops : 10am-11am and 11.30am-12.30pm. Suitable for 3rd-6th classes. Booking necessary, by phone on Tel 01 4524888.One class each session.

Junior Arts and Crafts with Sinéad. Takes place  each on Thursday afternoons.  Suitable for ages 6-12 years.   Booking necessary, by phone on Tel 01 4524888. Bookings taken from the previous Monday of each week.

English Language Class  for Improvers. Takes place on Wednesdays from 12.30pm-1.30pm.

Spanish Conversation Class for Intermediate Level.- with Maria. Takes place on Friday mornings.

Computer Classes for Beginners. Take place on Thursday mornings . These classes booked for now. Please contact the library if you are interested in doing a PC class.

Adult Book Club . Takes place on the last Tuesday of each month.  New members welcome!

The Abbey Theatre presents "Me, Michael", a one-man show with John Doran, at Tallaght Library on Thursday 29th October at 11 a.m. "Me, Michael" is a retelling of the late Brian Friel's "Dancing at Lughnasa" through the eyes of a young boy, Michael Evans.
