Produced in the medium of Irish with English translation of text available by 5th year students from Coláiste Cois Life in collaboration with artist and author of children's books, Peter Donnelly.

 

The funding for the works came from ‘Creative Engagment’ as well as the ‘Schools Cultural Award’ the school has recently won, which is funded by South Dublin County Council.

Tallaght native Karl Flynn will be holding his K.I.C.K. (Kickboxing to Inspire and Challenge Kids) workshop at Tallaght Library. Karl will talk about his background and how he got into his current roles. He will outline the importance of some techniques that young people can develop in order to have a healthy body and mind, and how this can help young people to pursue their passions.

This will be followed by interactive sessions which will cover various aspects of kickboxin and mixed martial arts, including flexibility, various forms of cardio and padwork.
