TEDxTallaght: Thinking Made Visual

October 5, 2011

TEDxTallaght 2011: The essence of design is thinking made visual. From traditional craft to computer design, from jewellry design to app design...they are all processes of thought becoming reality in a nexus of creativity. By breaking out of established patterns of thinking and doing, by tapping into our inner child and by not fearing failure, we can pierce the ordinary to find the extraordinary. 2011 is The Year of Craft in Ireland and so we wish to celebrate design and creativity from all areas of life in this our second TEDxTallaght event. This year's event will take place in the Victory Centre, Firhouse and will be hosted by the wonderful Darragh Doyle, Internet guru. This year's line-up includes Roísín Heneghan of Heneghan Peng Architects, Dr. Conor MacCormack of MCor Technologies, Hillary Kenna of IADT & co-designer of The Waste Land iPad app, and Angela O'Kelly Jewellry designer.  For more information on the speakers visit our TEDxTallaght website or follow us on Facebook.
