Red Line Book Festival 2017

July 26, 2017

The Red Line Book Festival 11th – 15th October 2017 – Save the Date!

The Red Line Book Festival is a celebration of all things literary.  It provides a programme of events and workshops aimed to attract culturally curious audiences of all ages and interests from both the local and wider community. The initiative is funded by South Dublin County Council and managed by South Dublin Libraries and Arts. With some 40 events organised for the 2017 festival, a selection of home-grown and international talent will be presented.

Showcasing the best of Irish writing, Dermot Bolger will chat with special guests on Readers Day. Coordinating this year’s literary strand is Vanessa Fox O’Loughlin (also known as crime writer Sam Blake). She has gathered an exciting group of writers to entertain with talks and workshops. The festival will continue to have a strong theatrical strand and an exciting schools programme featuring a special visit from Laureate na nÓg, PJ Lynch.

And don’t forget our ever-popular Red Line Poetry Competition and ITT Short Story Competition!
