Enfopoint at the County Library

November 16, 2010

Library branches are valuable resources for the ENFO service because of their system of countrywide network points. The objectives of the ENFOpoints are to make our customers and citizens identify libraries as a source of environmental information.

South Dublin County Libraries is one of four libraries authorities selected to participate in a nationwide pilot project to promote and provide environmental information through the public library network. The ENFO website is now available on a dedicated touch screen PC in the County Library, Tallaght and will include national and locally relevant environmental information, issues and events.

Throughout the coming year, the County Library will host a series of programmes, to include exhibitions, talks and workshops, which will cover environmental issues.

Have your relevant information or are you running any events?

  •  Are you a group that promotes environmental awareness?
  •  Are you involved in conservation?
  •  Do you promote use of the great natural resources we have in South Dublin (hills, parks etc)?

This information could be included on the South Dublin part of the Enfo website, so please contact the County Library at 01-462 0073 or by email
