Beyond Eye Level

March 12, 2012

Looking at architecture and the built environment – our buildings both historic and modern, villages, towns, cities and landscapes - these provide the framework for all human activity and interaction. We give it form and it forms us. It affects mind, body and spirit the way we move from place to place and the people that we meet. It involves collective, social and critical action.

Through symbolic, significant, public and private structures and spaces it represents the value of a community both past and present in concrete form. Our event focuses on providing knowledge and understanding through the engagement of professionals and the participation of children and young adults.
The future quality of our built environment will be determined by the children of today.

Join us for a wonderful program of Architecture & Public Space events, highlighting the importance of the built environment on our lives.
