The Staff of Ballyroan library are delighted to announce that the funding for the proposed redevelopment of the library has now been approved. To facilitate this work the library closed on Saturday 3rd September at 4.30pm. It is anticipated this closure will be from18 months to 2 years.
While this work is in progress, alternative arrangements have been put in place for members of Ballyroan library. From Monday 5th of September and until further notice the following services will operate:
We would like to thank Fr Brendan and the Parish Committee for their generosity in making this facility available to us.
We would also like to thank all our library users for your support down the years and hope you continue to use our alternative facilities during the interim period. Whilst the service will be limited due to space constraints, we have ensured that between the two venues there is no reduction in our opening hours.
Also please note that library members can also use our libraries at Castletymon Shopping Centre, The County Library beside Tallaght Civic Offices, Clondalkin Library on Monastery Road and Lucan Library at Superquinn Shopping Centre.
