The Red Line Book Festival Returns for an Exciting Eighth Edition Next Week!

The 2018 programme features over 50 events taking place across South Dublin.

 

Peter F. Hamilton, Alison Spittle, Rick O'Shea, Emilie Pine, Joe Duffy, Sophie Hannah, Andrew McMillan, Tara Flynn and Colm Keegan are among the big names set to take part in the 2018 Red Line Book Festival, which runs for seven days from Mon 8 Oct - Sun 14 Oct.

 

 

Highlights include:

 

 

Internet Famous: Tuesday 9th October 8pm, Civic Theatre: All-round creative powerhouse Alison Spittle hosts Internet Famous, a panel discussion with Tara Flynn, Aoife Dooley, and the authors of the sensational Oh My God What a Complete Aisling novels, Emer McLysaght and Sarah Breen 

 

Rick O'Shea Book Club Special - Friday 12th October 8.15pm, Civic Theatre

Rick chats to Senator Lynn Ruane, local hero and role model and the co-authors of Tony Ten - the story of the postman who won and lost 10 million euro through online gambling.

 

Mná na hÉireann: Saturday 13th October 11.00am, Civic Theatre

Join Joe Duffy and historians Liz Gillis, Kate O'Malley and Sinead McCoole for a series of talks on women in the revolutionary period (1913 - 1922 and beyond)

 

Killer Instincts: Saturday 13th October 8pm, Civic Theatre

An evening with criminally good writers: Sam Blake in conversation with Sophie Hannah, Cormac O'Keeffe, Patricia Gibney, and Louise Phillips.
